Chinese Ambassador delivers flood relief to Nepal, extends support

Ambassador Chen conveyed China’s deep condolences and sympathy for the victims, stating, “China and Nepal share close ties and have always supported each other in times of need.” He reaffirmed China’s commitment to helping Nepal recover from the disaster and added that China would provide further support through additional channels, including party-to-party cooperation.

Minister Lekhak, representing the Nepalese government and people, expressed gratitude for China’s prompt assistance. “China has consistently been the first to offer help whenever Nepal faces challenges, underscoring the deep bond between our nations,” he said. The minister added that Nepal is actively working on rescue and recovery efforts and will utilize the Chinese aid to support flood-affected communities in overcoming the crisis and returning to normal life.

The aid package reflects the long-standing friendship and cooperation between the two countries, particularly in times of hardship.
