Kathmandu – Nepal suffered a 37-18 defeat against Chinese Taipei in its second women’s kabaddi match at the 20th Asian Games in Japan.
Nepal and Chinese Taipei were tied 13-13 at halftime, but Nepal struggled in the second half, scoring only five points.
After a win over Thailand in the opening match, Nepal will face Sri Lanka in its final group-stage game on Thursday. The result will decide Nepal’s semifinal chances.
