Danfe Arts presents ‘Unfolding the City’ exhibition at Takpa Gallery

Kathmandu: Danfe Arts is set to present ‘Unfolding the City,’ a compelling group exhibition at Takpa Gallery in Lazimpat. The exhibition will be open to the public on Saturday, June 15, from 3 pm to 7 pm.

‘Unfolding the City’ is an efflorescence of layers, opening up gracefully like a Pundarikā lotus. These layers are the experiences lived by the artists in this intricately woven city. Each layer is an intimate story, a new perception that redefines the contemporary soul of the city.

The exhibition is a collage of diversity that looks at daily rituals of coexistence and curiously questions traditional knowledge. It celebrates the cultural vibrancy and the folklore that has traveled through the region. It seeks to unravel the ethnic roots of the artists, cultivating in them a sense of belonging and identity.
