“Deities of Nepal II” art exhibition previewing from 19 May

The Nepal Art Council in Babarmahal hosted the preview of the “Deities of Nepal II” art exhibition on Sunday, 19 May  2024.

Organized by Sagar SJB Rana, President of NAC, the exhibition features 235 artworks by 163 artists. Aiming to reveal Nepal’s living, intangible culture through various deities and shared beliefs, the exhibition includes sculptures, paintings, and art installations.

It emphasizes preserving Nepal’s rich cultural heritage and showcases the transition of cultural portrayal in current artistic trends. The exhibition is open to the public from May 21 to June 10, 2024.
