Direct bus service launched between Beni and New Delhi
A direct bus service connecting Beni, the district headquarters of Myagdi, to New Delhi, India, has been officially launched.
The cross-border service is being operated jointly by Modern Era Tours and Travels and Srishti Yatayat Pvt. Ltd. According to the operators, the bus route has been set to run via Syangja, Waling, Bhairahawa, Ayodhya, and Agra, providing a direct road travel option between western Nepal and India’s capital.
The service was inaugurated by Beni Municipality Mayor Surat KC during a launch program held in Beni.
It has been stated that the new direct route is expected to strengthen cross-border travel, support tourism, and promote religious tourism, with easier access for passengers travelling to pilgrimage and tourist destinations in India. The service is also expected to benefit travelers from the Myagdi, Baglung, Parbat, and Mustang districts by improving connectivity to international road transport.
