Kathmandu – The Dongfeng Nammi Vigo is now available at a lower price in Nepal, with authorized distributor MAW Vriddhi Motors introducing a new Vigo E2 variant without a moonroof.
The new E2 has been introduced at a special NADA Auto Show price of Rs. 3.599 million. According to the company, the price will increase to Rs. 3.799 million after the show. The new version is Rs. 500,000 cheaper than the previously available E2.
Despite removing the moonroof, most major features remain unchanged. The Nammi Vigo is offered with 44.94 kWh and 51.87 kWh battery options, providing claimed WLTP ranges of around 300 km and 350 km, respectively. Both variants use a 99 kW electric motor.
The compact electric SUV features a 12.8-inch infotainment display, 8.88-inch digital instrument cluster, 360-degree camera, wireless charging, voice control and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Safety equipment includes six airbags, Level 2 ADAS, traction control, hill hold, hill descent control and auto hold. The Vigo also offers Eco, Standard and Sport driving modes.
With its reduced entry price, the new Vigo E2 provides another competitively priced electric SUV option for buyers in Nepal.
