Kathmandu – Nepal Bank has introduced a special auto loan scheme targeting customers planning to purchase vehicles during the NADA Auto Show 2026, scheduled to be held at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, from Bhadra 9 to 14.
Under the offer, customers purchasing vehicles for private or commercial use can access financing at just 0.49% premium above the bank’s base rate, regardless of the vehicle brand.
Nepal Bank’s average base rate for the past three months stands at 4.50%. With the additional 0.49% premium, customers can therefore obtain an auto loan at an effective interest rate of 4.99%.
The bank will also charge an administrative fee of only 0.5% for the loan. In addition, eligible borrowers will receive a lifetime credit card with a limit of up to Rs. 300,000 without additional charges, according to the bank.
The special financing scheme is aimed at making vehicle purchases more affordable and convenient for customers visiting the NADA Auto Show 2026.
