EV Conclave organized by Setopati to discuss the future of electric vehicles in Nepal
Setopati, a leading news portal, is set to host an Electric Vehicle (EV) Conclave on August 16th at The Hotel Soaltee. The event aims to explore into the current state and future prospects of electric vehicles in Nepal.
The EV Conclave will feature three-panel discussions. The first session will be on “EV: present and future innovation” in which Dilbhusan Pathak, Reporter; Sahil Shrestha, Director at BYD Nepal, Hemant Agrawal, CEO of CG Motor and Lokesh Oli, EV expert will discuss their insights.
The second session will discuss “EV: NO National Contribution” with Rameshwar Khanal, Former Finance Secretary; Bhushan Tuladhar, Environmentalist; and Rajan Rayamajhi, Go Clean Energy President.
Similarly, the final session will be “EV: Power Stability and Policy Consistency”. This will cover important energy and policy topics. The speakers will be Ram Prasad Ghimire, Finance Secretary; Kulman Ghising, Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority; Yamuna Shrestha, Managing Director of BYD Nepal; and the panel will be moderated by Amit Dhakal, Journalist.
Likewise, Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel is expected to inaugurate the program.
The conclave promises to be a platform for in-depth analysis and discussions on the challenges and opportunities presented by the growing EV market in Nepal.
