Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu donates pottery machine to Blind Children Educational Centre
Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu introduced a community engagement initiative titled “The Fairfield for Children,” aimed at empowering students of the Blind Children Educational Centre.
As part of this initiative, the hotel handed over an advanced pottery machine to the students on August 22, 2024. This gesture represents Fairfield’s dedication to nurturing the creative potential and overall development of children with special needs.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Honorable Indira Rana Magar, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament in Nepal. She was honored by handing over the pottery machine to the Blind Children Educational Centre.
Kyohei Doizoe, a representative of Fairfield Kathmandu, expressed gratitude for the community’s support, stating that the donation was made possible by funds raised during a recent Art Market. “With a shared commitment to uplifting our community, Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu invites you to join us in creating a ‘Fair’field for Children together,” he said.
Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu continues to be dedicated to community engagement and social responsibility. The hotel is excited to continue its journey of support and creativity, with another Art Market scheduled for 7th September at Fairfield Kathmandu, Thamel.
