FOTON expands EV Service Network to over 21 locations in Nepal
Kathmandu: FOTON has expanded its electric vehicle after-sales network in Nepal by opening five new authorized Total Care Shield service points in Bhaluwang, Baglung, Lalbandi, Chapur and Lahan.
With the addition of these new centres, the company’s nationwide service network has grown to more than 21 locations, improving access to maintenance, repairs and technical support for FOTON customers across the country.
The new service points are expected to benefit customers in regional and semi-urban areas by reducing the distance and time required to obtain authorized vehicle servicing. They will also support educational institutions, logistics companies and commercial fleet operators that depend on reliable vehicles for daily operations.
According to the company, the facilities will provide routine maintenance, vehicle diagnostics, repair services and warranty assistance under manufacturer-approved standards. The service points are equipped with specialized diagnostic tools for FOTON electric vehicles and supported by trained EV technicians and genuine spare parts.
The expansion comes as the use of electric commercial vehicles continues to increase in Nepal, creating greater demand for qualified technicians and reliable service facilities outside major cities.
Through its Total Care programme, FOTON aims to reduce vehicle downtime and operating costs by offering preventive maintenance, faster service turnaround and accessible technical support adapted to Nepal’s road and operating conditions.
The company said the wider network will help improve vehicle safety, extend vehicle life and provide stronger after-sales support for businesses and individual customers.
MAW Vriddhi Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of FOTON vehicles in Nepal, said it remains focused on expanding customer support through service centres, genuine parts and reliable commercial mobility solutions.
The five new service points form part of FOTON’s broader effort to strengthen customer confidence and support the growth of electric commercial transportation across Nepal.
