Foton Nepal launched 100 Mountain EV Vans tailored for Nepali terrain
Foton Nepal has officially launched 100 units of its specially designed Mountain EV vans in the Nepali market, delivering them all at once. This electric vehicle (EV) is customized to suit Nepal’s challenging geographical conditions, featuring a 53.58 kWh battery that offers a driving range of up to 300 kilometers on a full charge (NEDC). The Mountain EV also boasts a maximum power of 130 kWh, torque of 330 Nm, and a climbing capability of 25%, making it the first of its kind in Nepal with these advanced features.
Expressing his excitement, Vivek Sikaria, Director of MAW Vriddhi Group, said, “We are thrilled to launch the Foton Mountain EV van in the Nepali market today. This innovative electric vehicle will set a new direction for the automotive industry in Nepal. It’s equipped with special features designed to handle Nepal’s challenging roads.”
