Free entry to Himalayan Bartender Competition in Kirtipur on August 31

Kirtipur is set to host the Himalayan Bartender Competition on August 31, 2024, at Sasa: Twa:, organized by the Kirtipur Hotel and Restaurant Bar Association with Ghoriwala Mart as the main presenter. The event will feature 20 participants from across Nepal, judged by both national and international experts. The competition will highlight drinks based on Newari spirit, vodka, and whiskey, offering cash prizes and gift hampers.

The event will be hosted by Miss Salina Maharjan, Miss Newa 2022, and include performances by Roj Man Maharjan and Nisa Deshar, alongside live music by NS 1134 Rock Band. Attendees will also enjoy a cultural show featuring the Lakha Dance and Dhime. The competition begins at 8:30 AM, with the award ceremony scheduled at 6 PM. The event is free for all and aims to promote tourism in Kirtipur.
