Kathmandu- Nobel College of Health and Education Foundation Limited, which operates Frontline Hospital, has provided financial assistance to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund to support people affected by the recent Bhotekoshi River floods in Rasuwa.
The contribution is aimed at supporting ongoing relief and rescue efforts as well as the longer-term rehabilitation of communities affected by the disaster.
The relief cheque was formally handed over at the Ministry of Finance by Nobel College of Health and Education Foundation Limited Chairman Navaraj Pandey and Frontline Hospital CEO Dr. Ashokvardhan.
The financial assistance was received on behalf of the government by Finance Secretary Dr. Ghanshyam Upadhyay and is set to be deposited into the central disaster relief fund.
The support comes as authorities and organizations continue to respond to the impact of flooding in the Bhotekoshi River area of Rasuwa, where affected families have faced displacement, property damage and disruption to daily life.
Frontline Hospital, located in Old Baneswor, Kathmandu, operates under Nobel College of Health and Education Foundation Limited. Through the contribution, the institution has expressed its support for communities affected by the disaster and for the government’s relief and recovery efforts.
The donation adds to broader efforts by public institutions, private organizations and other stakeholders to assist flood-affected communities and strengthen recovery and rehabilitation initiatives in Rasuwa.
