Ghalegaun Festival

May 3, 2016: The 17th Ghalegaun Festival is all set to be held in Lamjung’s popular tourism destination Ghalegaun from May 5.

The three-day  festival aims to revive the tourism industry that received a huge setback due to last year’s devastating earthquake and blockade at various Nepal-India border points.

The festival in the 700-year-old village will feature Gurung cultural dances and musical entertainment programmes, among other attractions.
