Global call for Photographers: OnePlus Photography Awards 2025

Global technology brand OnePlus has launched the 2025 OnePlus Photography Awards (OPA), marking its fifth year as a premier mobile photography competition. Open from February 7 to June 30, the contest invites photography enthusiasts worldwide to capture and share their creative vision under the theme “Make the Moment,” inspired by the historic moon landing photographed by Hasselblad.
This year’s competition features three categories: Movement, showcasing dynamic and action-packed shots; Night and Low Light, highlighting vibrant cityscapes and atmospheric nighttime photography; and Faces, celebrating emotions and storytelling through portraits. Open to all smartphone users, the contest is divided into two groups—OnePlus users and the Public Group for all other smartphone brands.
To participate in the 2025 OnePlus Photography Awards (OPA), photography enthusiasts can submit their entries through the official OnePlus website or via the 500px platform. Each submission must include a title of up to 10 words and a brief story of up to 100 words, offering context or insight into the photograph. Be sure to follow the guidelines for a chance to win exciting prizes and global recognition.
A distinguished judging panel, including Pete Lau, founder of OnePlus; Hasselblad ambassadors, and renowned photographers, will evaluate the submissions. The grand prize winner will receive $10,000, while all category winners will be awarded the flagship OnePlus 13 and potential collaboration opportunities. Winning entries will be featured globally on platforms like OnePlus and 500px, offering participants worldwide recognition.
The competition aligns with OnePlus’ commitment to pushing the boundaries of mobile photography, with the OnePlus 13 introducing cutting-edge camera technology, including a triple-camera system, Dual Exposure Algorithm, and enhanced Night and Portrait modes to help photographers capture breathtaking images.
