Government Issues Final Call for Applications from Landless Dalits, Squatters, and Unmanaged Settlers
Kathmandu-The Land Problem Resolution Commission has issued what it says is the final notice inviting applications from landless Dalits, landless squatters, and unmanaged settlers for land distribution and settlement management.According to the notice, eligible applicants must submit the prescribed application form within 35 days, starting from July 20 (Shrawan 4).Applications must be submitted through the designated data collectors deployed by local governments at specified ward-level locations.
The Commission stated that the applications will be used to identify landless Dalits and landless squatters for land allocation, while also facilitating the management of unmanaged settlements.
The notice has been published in coordination with local governments. Eligible individuals are urged to submit their applications within the stipulated deadline.The Commission has also published a notice specifying the local governments where applications are being accepted. Applicants are advised to refer to the official notice to confirm whether their municipality or rural municipality is included.
