Himalaya to bring new aircraft
January 18, 2017: Himalaya Airlines has announced it is bringing its second brand new aircraft, Airbus 320-214, by the end of this month.
The new Airbus 320-214, with Nepal registration number 9N-ALV includes eight business class and 150 economy class.
Himalaya Airlines has also announced an addition of scheduled flights to two new destinations — Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Yangon, Myanmar.
Launching airfare for Kathmandu-Kuala Lumpur-Kathmandu flight starts from Rs 25,375 and for Kuala Lumpur-Kathmandu-Kuala Lumpur flight starts from 928 ringgit.
The launching airfare for Kathmandu-Yangon-Kathmandu starts from Rs 29,600 and for Yangon-Kathmandu-Yangon flight starts from $320.
Government taxes will be extra.
The airlines will launch scheduled flights on Kathmandu-Kuala Lumpur-Kathmandu five times a week from February 10 and two times a week to Yangon will begin on February 24. The airline has appointed Carnival Travel and My Golden Lion Aviation as general sales agents for Malaysia and Myanmar, respectively.
