KATHMANDU: The Government of India has sent 10 tonnes of humanitarian assistance and disaster relief materials to Nepal following the devastating floods in Rasuwa district.
The emergency assistance includes essential medicines and other relief supplies intended to support people affected by the disaster and strengthen ongoing response efforts in flood-hit areas.
India also expressed condolences to families who lost loved ones and conveyed solidarity with Nepal and the Nepalese people as the country responds to the disaster.
The assistance comes as authorities continue search, rescue and relief operations in Rasuwa, where flooding has affected communities and damaged infrastructure and property.
The humanitarian support is expected to help meet immediate needs in affected areas as emergency teams continue relief and recovery efforts.
