India’s best-selling 125cc scooter Suzuki Access 125 seen in Nepal
Kathmandu – The Suzuki Access 125, one of India’s most successful scooters in the 125cc segment, has reportedly been spotted in Nepal, indicating that the model may soon be launched in the country.
According to sources, a small number of units have recently arrived in Nepal. Although an official launch date has not yet been announced, the presence of the scooter in the country has led to speculation that Suzuki may be preparing to introduce it to the Nepali market in the near future.
The Suzuki Access 125 has built a strong reputation in India, where it has remained the best-selling 125cc scooter for the past 10 consecutive years. The model is widely recognized for its reliable performance, smooth ride quality, practical design, and fuel-efficient engine, making it a popular choice for daily commuting.
The scooter is powered by a 124cc engine that delivers a balanced combination of performance and mileage. It is designed mainly for urban and everyday use, with features aimed at rider comfort and convenience. These include a comfortable seat, lightweight body structure, easy handling in traffic, and spacious under-seat storage.
The model has also gained industry recognition. Most recently, the Suzuki Access 125 received the “Scooter of the Year” award at the Acer FASTER Awards 2026, further strengthening its image in the competitive scooter segment.
If launched in Nepal, the Access 125 is expected to compete in the growing 125cc scooter category, where demand for practical, fuel-efficient, and comfortable two-wheelers has been increasing.
While Suzuki has yet to make any formal statement regarding the scooter’s official entry into Nepal, its reported arrival has created interest among two-wheeler enthusiasts and potential buyers awaiting a new option in the segment.
