Kathmandu — Jagdamba Motors, a part of the Shanker Group, is preparing to introduce SHACMAN’s X5000E 6×4 Electric Tractor and X5000E 6×4 Electric Dump Truck in Nepal. The launch will mark the company’s entry into the country’s electric heavy-duty commercial vehicle segment.
The electric tractor is designed for heavy freight and commercial transportation, while the dump truck targets construction, mining and other demanding operations. SHACMAN’s published specifications include LFP battery systems, electric powertrains and 6×4 drivetrains, with configurations offering substantial battery capacity and high motor output.
The planned launch comes as Nepal’s electric vehicle market expands beyond passenger cars into commercial and heavy-duty transportation. However, the official Nepal launch date, pricing and final local specifications have yet to be announced.
