Kantipur Hissan education fair begins at Bhrikutimandap
June 01, 2017: The fourth Kantipur Hissan Edu-Fair 2017 begins on Thursday at Bhrikutimandap, featuring as many as 100 domestic academic institutions providing higher education. The event targets the students waiting to join higher secondary schooling after completing their Secondary Education Examination. It runs until Sunday.
The Kantipur Media Group and the Higher Institutions and Secondary Schools’ Association Nepal (Hissan), who have been co-organising the event over four years, are holding this edition with a theme ‘Excellent Education within Nepal’ aimed at spreading message that the academic institutions within the country are capable to provide quality education. Besides Among the participants are the major universities, including Tribhuvan University, Pokhara, Purbanchal, Mid-Western and Far-Western University, along with the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training.
The organisers claim that the four-day fair will help students find an institution providing higher education of their choice. They have requested students to come along with their parents to the event so that they can jointly take a right decision.
With the participation of as many as 100 academic institutions, the organisers said, the fair allows students and parents to compare a number of academic institutions under one roof.
