Kathmandu – IME Khalti Limited, a digital financial services provider in Nepal, has introduced several new technology and financial services during the Nepal Fintech Expo 2026, expanding its offerings beyond digital payments to include personal finance management, digital connectivity, international payments and stock market-related services.
The three-day exhibition, organised by Fintech Alliance Nepal, provided a platform for Khalti to showcase both existing services and new products aimed at addressing users’ everyday financial and digital needs.
On the first day of the expo, the company launched Khalti Cards, eSIM and Personal Finance Challenge. According to the company, these services are designed to connect digital payments with telecommunications connectivity and personal expense and budget management, allowing users to access a broader range of digital services.
On the third day, Khalti officially introduced Khalti Pro, Stripe and Khalti Stock Hub. These services mark an expansion of the company’s offerings into additional financial and investment-related areas. Khalti Stock Hub is designed to provide information and services related to the stock market, while the introduction of Stripe brings an international payment system into the company’s expanding service portfolio.
Throughout the exhibition, Khalti operated a stall to inform visitors about the features, usage and benefits of its new and existing services. The company also offered promotional deals, including cashback and promo codes, on selected services such as Smart Deposit, cards, AI Fiesta, insurance, flight tickets, mobile top-ups, data packages, and television and internet bill payments.
Speaking about the expansion, IME Khalti Limited Chief Executive Officer Praveen Regmi said the company was moving beyond its role as a payment service provider towards offering services related to personal finance management, digital connectivity, investment and technology.
He added that events such as the expo allow the company to interact directly with users, better understand their needs and improve its services accordingly.
Khalti said its broader strategy is to keep digital payments at the centre of its platform while integrating services related to savings, investment, insurance, telecommunications and everyday needs into a more unified digital ecosystem.
The latest launches reflect the company’s efforts to broaden its digital service portfolio and provide users with access to a wider range of financial and technology-based services through its platform.
