Khalti unveils ‘Use Khalti, Go to the World Cup’ campaign
Kathmandu – Following Nepal’s historic qualification for the ICC T20 World Cup, digital wallet Khalti has unveiled a nationwide promotional campaign titled “Use Khalti, Go to the World Cup.” The campaign has been launched with the objective of offering cricket fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the World Cup live from the stadium.
Under the campaign, one winning pair will be awarded a fully sponsored trip to watch the T20 World Cup in person, with all travel and related expenses covered.
According to Khalti, winners will be selected through a game-based digital mechanism integrated within the Khalti app. Users who make eligible transactions via the platform will receive a digital scratch card, each featuring one of the 11 players from Nepal’s national cricket team.
To qualify for the bumper prize lucky draw, users are required to collect all 11 unique player cards and complete the full set. In addition, users who collect 2, 5, 7, and 11 unique player cards will receive various promo codes as instant rewards.
As part of the campaign’s periodic incentives, one winner will be selected every 14 days from among users who collect five unique player cards, with the winner receiving a brand-new Honor X smartphone. Users who successfully collect all 11 player cards will advance to the final lucky draw, from which one pair will be selected to win the fully sponsored World Cup experience.
The campaign is aimed at celebrating Nepal’s cricketing milestone while increasing user engagement through interactive digital rewards.
