Kipaagraphy Bhaktapur felicitated the winners of photo competition
Kipaagraphy Bhaktapur celebrated its 9th anniversary with the theme “Photography for Heritage Preservation” in a grand ceremony held at the Khwopring English Academy School assembly hall. The event featured the “Sa:Paru Photo Competition 2081,” with winners receiving awards and recognition for their exceptional work in photography.
Mr. Naveen Bhasima was honored with the 1st position, followed by Mr. Laxman Karmacharya in 2nd place, and Miss Archana Shrestha in 3rd place. The chief guest, Mr. Surendra Raj Gosai, a member of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly, distributed awards and certificates to the winners and other participants, acknowledging their contributions to preserving cultural heritage through photography.
Advisors Mr. Bal Ram Prajapati and Mr. Achut Prajapati addressed the gathering, sharing their views on the role of photography in preserving cultural heritage.
The ceremony was chaired by Mr. Suresh Raj Shakya. Sunil Lage, co-secretary welcomed the attendees; Ujwol Chandra Buddhacharya, Vice President provided insights into the competition, which saw more than 100 photos submitted. Likewise, Bal Krishna Prajapati, secretary presented the organization’s annual report. Rabita Kisi concluded by expressing gratitude to all participants and contributors.
The event, expertly hosted by Padam Sundar Shakya, was praised for its seamless organization and dedication to promoting heritage through photography.
