KP Oli Resigns
KP Sharma Oli has resigned from his position as the Prime Minister of Nepal. After the continued protests since yesterday, September 8, the situation has become much dire.
September 8, the day when the Gen Z of Nepal decided to take a small step against the tyrannical corrupt system of Nepal, ended up claiming over 20 innocent lives, with hundreds rendered injured. Huge crowds of Gen Z gathered across the country at various locations for peaceful demonstrations, speaking up against the rampant corruption in Nepal. The rather peaceful demonstrations soon turned into a chaotic mess of scuffle, eventually leading to a gut-wrenching bloodshed.
With Home Minister and other officials resigning, the political stability of Nepal is now in shambles. The public rage however, is yet to be contained. The public opines that the loss of lives cannot simply be compensated with resignation.
