KTM 250 Duke gets new Slate Grey colour option

KATHMANDU: KTM has introduced a new Slate Grey colour option for the 2026 KTM 250 Duke, giving its popular street-naked motorcycle a refreshed look while retaining the same performance, technology, and rider-focused features. The update is cosmetic, with no mechanical changes to the bike.

The new Slate Grey paint scheme combines dark grey body panels with KTM’s signature orange fuel tank, offering a sharper and more aggressive appearance. It joins the newly introduced Silver Metallic finish, providing riders with more styling choices.

Powering the motorcycle is the familiar 249.07 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which produces 31 PS of power and 25 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox, slipper clutch, and Quickshifter+, delivering smooth gear shifts and responsive performance for both city riding and highway touring.

The KTM 250 Duke continues to feature a steel trellis frame, WP APEX upside-down front forks, WP APEX rear monoshock, and dual-channel ABS with Supermoto ABS for enhanced handling and braking confidence. It also comes equipped with full LED lighting, a 5-inch TFT colour display with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, ride-by-wire throttle, and Track Screen functionality.

The motorcycle has an 800 mm seat height, a 15-litre fuel tank, and a fully fuelled weight of 165 kg, making it suitable for everyday commuting as well as spirited weekend rides.

While the 2026 update focuses on visual enhancements rather than performance upgrades, the new Slate Grey edition gives the KTM 250 Duke a fresh identity while maintaining the sporty character and advanced features that have made it one of the most popular motorcycles in the quarter-litre naked bike segment.
