Lalitpur – Lalitpur Metropolitan City has organized the “Local Roots to Global Reach: Women Entrepreneurs’ Product Exhibition 2083” from October 2 to 4, 2026, with the aim of promoting women-led businesses and providing local entrepreneurs with greater opportunities to showcase their products.

The three-day exhibition will bring together women entrepreneurs from different sectors, with 75 stalls displaying a diverse range of locally produced goods. The event is designed to connect women entrepreneurs with consumers, potential buyers and other stakeholders while creating opportunities to expand their businesses beyond local markets.
The exhibition will also feature interactive collaboration sessions with international representatives and delegates, providing participating entrepreneurs with an opportunity to exchange ideas, explore potential partnerships and learn about opportunities in wider markets.
Traditional skills and local products will be highlighted through live demonstration stalls, including special presentations on traditional food and pottery. These demonstrations are expected to give visitors a closer look at the production processes behind some of Nepal’s traditional products and crafts.

Alongside the product exhibition, visitors will be able to enjoy traditional musical and cultural performances throughout the event. The programs are intended to promote local culture and heritage while creating a lively environment for visitors and participating entrepreneurs.
The event will also recognize outstanding participants, with awards and honors for notable stalls and entrepreneurs. The recognition is aimed at encouraging women entrepreneurs to continue developing innovative, competitive and locally rooted businesses.
Through the exhibition, Lalitpur Metropolitan City seeks to strengthen women’s participation in entrepreneurship, promote locally manufactured products and create a platform where local businesses can gain wider exposure. The initiative also emphasizes the potential of local products to reach national and international markets while supporting women’s economic empowerment.
