Land Revenue Office renamed as ‘Land Administration Office’

Kathmandu– The government has renamed the Land Revenue Office as the “Land Administration Office” through an ordinance aimed at amending several Nepal Acts.

According to the revised provisions, the term “Land Revenue Office” used in the Land Revenue Act and the Land (Survey and Measurement) Act has been replaced with “Land Administration Office.” Similarly, the designation “Land Revenue Officer” has been changed to “Land Administration Officer.”

The government stated that the change in name and designation is intended to make land administration more systematic, modern, and effective.
