Lunch break reduced to 30 minutes in Government offices

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli announced via social media that the lunch break for government offices has been reduced from one hour to 30 minutes, addressing complaints that services were disrupted during the lunch period. The new break time is set from 1:30 PM to 2 PM daily.

The PM emphasized the importance of maintaining workflow, stating, “Employees should take their lunch, but work should not halt because of it.” Citizens are encouraged to report any violations of this policy through the ‘Hello Sarkar‘ platform.
