This initiative is part of MetLife’s broader corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy to support education and community welfare in Nepal.
Under this initiative, MetLife has provided support of NRS 700,000 to Karmayog Foundation, an organization working for holistic upliftment of underprivileged communities in rural Nepal for collaboratively developing the Interactive Playscape in the school. The joint effort involves local architects, educators, and community members to ensure that the playscape meets the specific needs of the students and aligns with the cultural context of the region. The playscape will feature eco-friendly materials and incorporate local artistry, reflecting the rich heritage and commitment to sustainability.
