KATHMANDU: Mission Rebuild Nepal has provided 100 body bags to support the management of deceased victims following the devastating floods in Rasuwa.
Representatives of the organisation handed over the body bags to the concerned authority through Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation Mahabir Pun, who was present at the authority for a meeting.
The assistance is intended to support authorities involved in handling and managing the bodies recovered following the disaster, as search and response operations continue in flood-affected areas.
Following the handover, the 100 body bags were immediately transferred to Nepal Police Headquarters in Naxal for use as required in the ongoing disaster response.
The contribution comes as government agencies, security personnel, humanitarian organisations, volunteers and members of the public continue supporting search, rescue, relief and recovery efforts for communities affected by the Rasuwa floods.
