Kathmandu – The ‘Sports Day’ event of the prestigious beauty pageant ‘Mrs Nepal World 2026’, organized by Ribbon Entertainment, has concluded with various sporting competitions. Presented by Whisper, powered by Arna Energy Drink, and co-sponsored by Nivea, the event gave contestants an opportunity to showcase their sporting skills and physical abilities.
The competition featured six sporting events: cricket, running, skipping, blind throw, football penalty shootout, and basketball. The main attraction was the cricket match, where the contestants were divided into two teams—Laliguras and Danphe.
To encourage the contestants, star players from the Nepali national women’s cricket team, including Bindu Rawal, Kabita Kunwar, Soni Pakhrin, Manisha Upadhyay, and Riya Sharma, also took part in the event. After a competitive match, Team Danphe emerged as the winner. In cricket, Anju Pariyar was named Best Player, Neha Gupta Best Batter, and Monika Tamang Best Fielder.
In the other events, Sandhya Lama secured first place in running, followed by Anju Pariyar in second and Shilpa Neupane in third. Priyashikha Khadka won the skipping competition, while Neha Gupta won the blind throw event. Bindu Thapa Rana secured victories in both the football penalty shootout and basketball competitions.
The contestants demonstrated their abilities not only in beauty and intellect but also in sports. According to organizer Ribbon Entertainment, such extracurricular activities help enhance contestants’ confidence, teamwork, and physical fitness.
