MTV Roadies in Nepali Version

January 24, 2016: Nepal is getting its own version of MTV Roadies. Under the license from Viacom 18, Himalaya Television is producing a Nepali version of MTV Roadies – Himalaya Roadies . “I expect the series will bring about renewed interest in homegrown channels, and it can only happen when we cater to the evolved taste of audience,” said Chang Agarwal, Executive Director of Himalaya Television.

According to the Director of the series, Aman Pratap Adhikary, “This is an exciting time when an international franchise of such magnitude is being dared on National television. This will help Nepali production values meet international standard.”

"The three judges for the Himalaya Roadies are Deeya Maskey, Remon Das Shrestha and Aasis Rana aka Laure," reads the press statement issued by the company.

 Bajaj Avenger is the title sponsor of the Himalaya Roadies and styled by Set Wet in association with Ncell, an Axiata company.
