Ncell introduces Yonder Music
May 25, 2017: Ncell, the leading GSM mobile service provider of the country, has introduced a new digital music platform, Yonder Music that enables music lovers to enjoy free access to millions of songs to download and play. Yonder Music is a music streaming app, and the company has launched it in collaboration with US-based Yonder Music Inc.
Yonder Music app includes the largest digital music library of Nepali songs, and it will be accessible for customers from Friday (May 26) onward, giving Ncell users a rich, interactive journey of musical pleasure. All prepaid and postpaid customers of Ncell can easily install the app in their smartphones and enjoy listening to old classic songs as well as the latest hits of any genre of local and international music. Customers can enjoy the music both online and offline.
Yonder Music makes an extensive library of over 20 million Nepali and international songs, which Ncell customers can access free of commercials and subscription fees. Standard data charges will be applicable when Ncell data is used for downloading the songs.
The app will be accessible in other operators’ network too. After a month from the launch date, it will be available exclusively on the Ncell network, which means Ncell customers will have special access to use the app.

Customers can install the app from Google Play and Apple App Store. After registration, they will be able to download songs in both WiFi and Ncell cellular data.
The app also offers to the users a first-of-its-kind interactive feature ‘Snap Karaoke’ which allows users to sing and record their own versions of their favorite songs in a video karaoke style and share up to 29 seconds of their karaoke performance with other Yonder users and on social networks.

Under the collaboration, Yonder Nepal, a subsidiary company of Yonder Music Inc., will pay royalties to performers, lyricists and musicians. In a bid to support Nepali music industry foster, Ncell has also been providing royalty under PRBT service.
