May 26, 2016: Ncell, the leading mobile service provider of the country, has launched attractive daily unlimited data roaming pack, targeting its customers who need to use data while roaming in Axiata network countries.
Under the scheme, which is coming into effect from Thursday (May 26) customers can buy daily data roaming pack at Rs. 1,500 (including taxes) and enjoy unlimited data service while travelling in Bangladesh, Cambodia, Malaysia and Sri Lanka.
Customers can activate the unlimited data roaming pack on a recurring mode or one-time basis. Activation on recurring mode ensures customers automatically get daily unlimited data roaming pack everyday throughout their travel; activation on one-time basis would require them to activate the pack every day.
To buy the data pack, the customers first need to activate roaming by dialing *17127# and follow the instructions. After activating the roaming service, they can dial *17129# to select one-time or recurring daily unlimited data pack .Through these data packs, both pre-paid and post-paid will be able to stay connected with their near and dear ones being latched with Robi Axiata (Bangladesh), Smart Axiata (Cambodia), Celcom Axiata (Malaysia) and Dialog Axiata (Sri Lanka) of Axiata Group network.
“As demand for data while roaming has been picking up rapidly, we are glad to introduce to our customers unlimited daily data roaming pack. It offers special value to our valued customers, enabling them to enjoy the data service at comparatively low price while travelling in the Axiata Group network countries,” said Pranay Raj Acharya, Enterprise Director of Ncell. “We will continue to introduce additional schemes to enhance our customers’ experience.”
Daily data pack is valid for 24 hours from the time of activation. Once the validity expires, prevailing standard data roaming rate, that is Rs. 15 per MB will apply. As for the recurring daily data pack, validity will expires at midnight irrespective of the pack activated time and it will be renewed automatically by system.
