Ncell reduces call rate to 30 countries

March 26, 2016: All Ncell customers can now make calls to 30 countries at local rate. The leading GSM mobile service provider of the country Ncell has launched a new scheme under which customers can now make calls to these 30 destinations at Rs 1.99 per minute (excluding taxes) only.
 
This special offer is coming into effect from Monday (March 27) for the period of 15 days. All postpaid and prepaid customers of Ncell can participate in the scheme and enjoy making international calls at a local rate.  
 
The scheme is applicable for countries including India, China, USA, UK, Canada, Hong Kong, Germany, Singapore, Sweden and New Zealand, among others. Currently, call rate to the 30 destinations ranges from Rs 1.99 to Rs 48.99 per minute (excluding taxes) depending upon country. For example, it costs Rs 1.99 per minute for USA and Rs 15 per minute for Australia.
 
To take benefit from this offer, customers need to activate the service. This can be done by dialing *17107# or by typing A and sending SMS to 17107. They can also know more about the scheme and activate it by dialing IVR number 17107 and following the instruction. Activation of the scheme is free of cost.
 
The scheme targeted for customers who need to make international calls goes in line with Ncell’s commitment to provide quality service at affordable rates. “It enables our customers to make international calls at more affordable rate and stay connected with friends and family members living in different corners of the world,” said Milan Sharma, corporate communications expert of Ncell.
 
If customers do not want to continue with the scheme after activation, they can deactivate it by typing R and sending SMS to 17107.
