NEB Publishes Grade 12 Results; Pass Rate Reaches 69.75 Percent
Kathmandu – The National Examination Board (NEB) has officially released the results of the Grade 12 examinations.
The decision was made during a board meeting held on Friday morning. NEB Member Secretary Jang Bahadur Aryal confirmed that the meeting, which began at 8:00 a.m., approved the publication of the results.
According to the board, 69.75 percent of students appearing under the regular category have passed the examinations. The Grade 12 exams were conducted from April 27 to May 10, with a total of 418,170 students participating nationwide.
Of the total examinees, 332,241 students appeared under the regular category, while 85,929 students took the examinations as partial candidates.
The government had instructed the board to publish the results within 45 days of the examinations. However, the NEB managed to release the results ahead of the deadline.
Earlier this year, the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) results were also published within 29 days, meeting the government’s target of announcing the results within one month.
