Nepal and Spain Explore New Opportunities for Trade and Investment
Kathmandu – Nepal’s International Relations and Global Diplomacy Dialogue (IRGDD) and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce held a high-level meeting to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and promote mutual benefits in trade, investment, and other strategic sectors.
The meeting, held at the IRGDD office in Bishalnagar, Kathmandu, brought together IRGDD President Amb. Dr. Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal and Director-General of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, Inmaculada Rierai Reñé, along with senior representatives including Amb. Kali Prasad Pokhrel and Bimal Dhakal.
During the discussions, both sides explored a range of collaborative opportunities, including trade promotion, investment facilitation, digital economy initiatives, tourism, cultural diplomacy, education, skill development, and knowledge exchange. The dialogue reflected a shared commitment to enhancing economic and cultural ties between Nepal and Spain.
