Nepal Announces Visit Nepal 2085 to Boost Tourism

Kathmandu – The Government of Nepal has announced the ‘Visit Nepal 2085’ campaign with the aim of strengthening the country’s tourism sector and attracting more domestic and international visitors.

President Ram Chandra Paudel made the announcement on Monday while presenting the government’s policies and programmes for the fiscal year 2083/84 at the joint meeting of the Federal Parliament.

According to the announcement, the upcoming fiscal year will be used as a preparation year to make the campaign effective. The initiative is expected to focus on tourism promotion, better planning, and wider visibility for Nepal as a major travel destination.
