Kathmandu — The Nepal International Trade Fair (NITF) 2026 is scheduled to take place from December 3 to 7, 2026 (Mangsir 17–21, 2083) at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, bringing together Nepali and international businesses, products and services under one platform.
The trade fair is being organised by the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) in coordination with the Government of Nepal, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, the Trade and Export Promotion Centre, Lalitpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Federation of Handicraft Associations of Nepal.
Held annually, the Nepal International Trade Fair will feature participation from China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Bhutan, alongside Nepali businesses. The 2026 edition marks the ninth edition of the international trade fair.
More than 200 stalls are expected to showcase domestic and international products and services. The fair will include dedicated displays for Made in Nepal products, handicrafts, commodity-based products and electric vehicles.
The event is particularly focused on promoting products identified under Nepal’s Nepal Trade Integration Strategy (NTIS). These include cardamom, tea, ginger, medicinal and aromatic plants, handicrafts, pashmina, coffee, Nepali paper and paper products, and ready-made garments, among other export-oriented products.
The fair will also provide opportunities for Nepali businesses to interact directly with international buyers and explore potential trade and investment partnerships. A business interaction programme between Nepali and Chinese businesses is also planned during the event.
Various stalls will cover sectors including handicrafts, tourism information, technology and business services, agricultural products, energy, and building and construction, along with educational and informational activities.
According to the organisers, the fair will bring together business representatives from different countries and provide opportunities for discussions on bilateral trade, investment and business cooperation.
The organisers are targeting around 100,000 visitors, including both domestic and international attendees, during the five-day event.
The annual trade fair is intended to promote Nepali products in international markets, attract foreign investment and technology, strengthen trade connections and contribute to the broader development of Nepal’s economy.
