Kathmandu – Nepal Telecom has restored services at three more network sites affected by the recent floods, further strengthening communication facilities in disaster-hit areas.
The telecom provider confirmed that the sites located at Kalleri in Dhading and Bhadretar Thaprek and Pusantar in Nuwakot have resumed operations from Bhadra 16, 2083.
The restoration of the Kalleri site has restored connectivity for customers in Adamghat, Pipaltar, Sunaulabazar, Ghumaundanda, Kalleri and Beltar areas.
Likewise, the Bhadretar Thaprek site will serve customers in Panchakanya, Thaprek, Mahakali, Samundradevi and Ralukadevi, while the Pusantar site will provide services to communities including Pipaltar, Devighat, Majhigaun, Sirkhali and Bhuwanibesi.
With these latest upgrades, 113 of the 120 sites impacted by the floods are now operational, enabling network access across nearly all previously covered locations.
Nepal Telecom said it is continuing restoration work in affected areas and gradually upgrading sites that are currently operating at limited capacity to ensure full and reliable service.
