Nepal tourism board brings the spirit of the himalayas to Los Angeles Travel Show 2026
Kathmandu – The Nepal Tourism Board, in collaboration with five Nepali travel companies, concluded its participation in the Los Angeles Travel & Adventure Show 2026, which was held on March 7 and 8 in Los Angeles, United States.
At the event, the Nepal Pavilion drew notable interest from the U.S. travel market. Nepal’s tourism appeal was presented through its adventure offerings, cultural experiences, authentic cuisine, and the well-known hospitality of the Nepali people.
The participation was focused on promoting Nepal’s internationally recognized trekking routes, outdoor adventure activities, and mountain tourism products. Equal importance was also given to the promotion of sustainability and responsible travel practices.
During the event, representatives of the Nepal Tourism Board held interactions with media personnel, travel bloggers, content creators, and other tourism stakeholders with the aim of strengthening professional partnerships and expanding Nepal’s visibility in the U.S. travel market. The Board has also been working in close coordination with Nepal’s embassies, consulates general, and honorary consuls, as well as Nepali diaspora and student communities, to support collaborative tourism promotion in future programs.
The participating companies were Adventure Outdoor Treks & Expedition, Altitude Himalaya, Earthbound Expeditions, Rolwaling Excursion, and Satori Adventures, which reported encouraging interest from both travelers and industry representatives. A range of travel products were promoted, including tour and trekking packages of around two weeks, as well as Everest and other mountain expedition programs extending up to eight weeks.
The Nepal stall, which was positioned near the entrance of the venue, received consistent visitor traffic throughout the two-day event. The Nepal Tourism Board was represented by Mr. Bimal Kadel, Senior Manager, and Mr. Janaki Prasad Upadhyaya, Senior Officer.
