New Skoda Superb
September 01, 2017: Skoda MAW, the authorized distributor of Skoda cars in Nepal, has showcased the third generation of its flagship model, the new Skoda Superb for the first time in Nepal.
Some of the features of the new model include innovative safety systems, comfort, powerful engine. The new Skoda Superb is powered by a new 2.0TDI/130kW (177PS) engine.
The third-generation Superb is more powerful than ever and yet it is up to 30 per cent more economic thanks to the new and efficient engines and improved aerodynamics.
The new Superb is available in four colours: candy white, brilliant silver, magnetic brown, and business grey. The price of Skoda Superb in Nepal is Rs 11.6 million.
Skoda MAW has announced warranty over the period of four years or up to 100,000 kilometers (whichever comes first) for Skoda Superb. Skoda Superb is awarded with a number of reputed titles like NDTV Car of the year 2017, Premium Sedan of the year 2017, Auto Express Family Car of the year 2017, Executive Sedan of the Year 2017 etc.
The new Superb’s completely redeveloped chassis with MacPherson front struts and multi-link rear axle offers maximum ride stability in challenging situations, reads a press statement issued by the company.
The new Superb is fitted with standard electronic stability control system including multi-collision brake, electronic tyre pressure monitoring, eight airbags, five three-point seat belts with fastening alerts as well as safety headrests.
The car also features XDS+, an enhanced function of the electronic differential lock.
The Innovative lighting systems fitted with bi-xenon lamps including AFS function and LED daytime running lights significantly increase safety at night.
The boot capacity is a record in the segment at 625 liters. The car has a rear-view camera while the classic handbrake has been replaced with an auto held electromechanical parking brake.
