New York Writers Workshop and Himalayan Literature Festival to kick off to celebrate the magic of words
New York Writers Workshop is set to host the much-anticipated Kathmandu workshop as well as the Himalayan Literature Festival (HLF) in collaboration with White Lotus Book Shop. The workshop starts on May 23 and culminates in HLF on May 27 and May 28. This first edition of the festival promises to be an immersive experience for book lovers, writers, and literary enthusiasts alike.
The festival will feature an exciting lineup of renowned authors, poets, and speakers from around the world. Attendees can look forward to engaging panel discussions, captivating readings, insightful workshops, and thought-provoking conversations on a wide range of literary topics.
“We are thrilled to start the Himalayan Literature Festival this year,” said Yuyutsu RD Sharma, the curator of the festival. “Our goal is to create a platform that not only celebrates literature but also fosters a sense of community and inspires creativity.”
In addition to the main events, the festival will include activities, including panel discussions, book signings, book launches, and interactive sessions with authors of different genres.
“We believe that literature has the power to connect people and ignite imaginations,” added Sharma. “Through the workshop and Himalayan Literature Festival, we aim to spark meaningful conversations, showcase diverse voices, and celebrate the magic of words.”
