Newly appointed Gandaki orovince Ministers take Oath today
Kaski-Newly appointed ministers of Gandaki Province took the oath of office and secrecy today. Province Chief Dilliraj Bhatt administered the oath to the ministers on Wednesday.
The appointments were made earlier on the recommendation of Chief Minister Surendra Pandey, who reshuffled the cabinet by removing all previous ministers and forming a new team.
The 9-member cabinet includes four ministers each from the Nepali Congress and CPN-UML. From the Nepali Congress, Jeet Sherchan has been appointed as Finance Minister, Nanda Prasad Neupane as Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Drinking Water, Rekha Gurung as Minister for Social Development, Youth and Sports, and Namdu Gurung as Minister for Forest and Environment.
Similarly, from CPN-UML, Govinda Bahadur Nepali has been appointed as Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development and Transport Management, Yashoda Rimal as Minister for Industry and Tourism, Laxman Pandey as Minister for Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives, and Bhim Karki as Minister for Health.
