NFPJ honors distinguished photographers from China
The National Forum of Photojournalists (NFPJ) Nepal welcomed a delegation of seven photographers, including China’s renowned travel photographer Su Xue, who is currently visiting Nepal. On Friday, a special dinner was organized in their honor at Mithila Thali, Gairidhara, Kathmandu.
The guests were treated to a traditional Mithila cuisine, showcasing the rich culinary heritage of Nepal. On behalf of the director of Mithila Thali, Chef Laxman Bhandari handed over a book by Master Chef Santosh Shah.
During the event, the NFPJ also distributed its official newsletter to the guests, highlighting the group’s recent activities and upcoming initiatives. This provided an additional opportunity for the guests to learn more about the NFPJ’s work in promoting photojournalism in Nepal.
The event was graced by Pradeep Raj Onta, President of the National Forum of Photojournalists Nepal, and Kalyan Sharma, the President of the Nepal-China Friendship Forum (NCFF), along with the Central Committee team. The gathering aimed to foster stronger cultural ties and provide a platform for artistic collaboration between Nepalese and Chinese photographers.
The dinner and interaction session not only highlighted Nepal’s hospitality but also served as an opportunity for the photographers to share experiences and insights about their work, promoting cross-border understanding and appreciation of the art of photography.
