NRB increases digital wallet deposit limit for festive season

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced an increased deposit limit for digital wallets during the upcoming Dashain, Tihar, and Chhath festivals. In a circular issued on Monday, the Nepal Rastra Bank informed payment service providers that individuals will be allowed to make up to 30 deposits per day in their digital wallets, starting from October 8 to October 17.

Under normal circumstances, the daily deposit limit is limited to 10 transactions.

This temporary facility will also be reintroduced from Lakshmi Puja on October 31 until Chhath on November 7, NRB stated.
