The NYEF Kathmandu Chapter has officially announced the Fourth Edition of the NYEF Startup Awards, a major competition designed to spotlight and support up-and-coming entrepreneurs. This event, widely recognized as a premier startup competition in Nepal, offers a unique opportunity for startups that have been in the market for less than five years to accelerate their growth and expand their business potential.
The competition’s primary goal is to strengthen Nepal’s business ecosystem by providing entrepreneurs with exposure, mentorship, and opportunities for investment. Participants will gain knowledge from industry experts, engage in a personalized mentorship program, and present their business ideas to a panel of judges and potential investors.
Registration is now open and will close on November 15, 2024, providing entrepreneurs ample time to secure their place in this prestigious competition.

- Startup should be officially recognized and registered by the government of Nepal.
- Startup should not have been registered more than 5 years ago (pre-July 17, 2019).
- Startup should have a product or service in place.
- Startup owned by any NYEF member shall not be eligible.
- The application form is to be filled in English only.
- Any false information provided will result in the immediate elimination.
- Signing a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is a must.
- Allowances shall not be paid for travel or stay.
- Participants should be in smart casuals (or more formal attire) during the pitch.
- The startup founders should be able to commit their time as required for the participation.
