One Nepali is among those killed in mass shooting in Maryland
September 22, 2018: Nepali woman was killed and another Nepali man was injured in a mass shooting in Maryland at a Rite Aid distribution center on Thursday.
The Nepali woman killed has been identified as Brinda Giri, 41, of Parbat and the injured Nepali is Prem Acharya, 45. Snochia Moseley, 26, a temporary employee of the facility, armed with a handgun opened fire on coworkers, killing three and injuring three others, before shooting herself dead.
The center has other eight Nepali workers. Giri was living with her husband and a son and a daughter in the locality. She started her job at the center three months ago, according to the family.
