Oppo F5 Launched in Nepali Market
November 15, 2017: Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo, the maker of the Selfie Expert phone series, has introduced the Oppo F5 in the Nepali market. The new handset is the brand’s first FHD + full screen display model in Nepal which features the AI Beauty technology, a technology designed to personalize beautification for subjects on a selfie image.
Oppo F5 sports a 20MP front-facing camera with an AI chip to further enhance the selfies. It has a 16MP f/1.8 autofocus phase detection rear snapper that incorporates standard camera features including face detection, geo-tagging, touch focus, HDR and panorama.
Oppo F5 has been priced at Rs 33,990. The new Oppo smartphone comes with current generation flagship features such as Facial Recognition and Machine Learning. Powered by a 2.5GHz MediaTek MT6763T Helio P23 octa-core processor and 4GB RAM, Oppo F5 comes with a 6-inch FHD display (402 PPI pixel density) with 18:9 aspect ratio. Running on Android 7.1 (Nougut) based Colors OS 3.2, Oppo F5 houses a 3,200mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery, and has storage of 32GB which is expandable up to 256GB via a MicroSD card.
Two other F5 variants were also showcased at the launch event, namely F5 6GB edition and F5 Youth. The two models will be made available consecutively in the domestic market in the coming months. Buddha Lama, Nishan Bhattarai and Pradip Das, the top three contestants of Nepal Idol season-1 who are the product endorsers for Oppo F5, performed their musical presentations in the programme.
